Sydney's Cicciabella has launched a new takeaway menu so nonna can have the night off
Simply cook the pasta, heat the sauce, and hey presto! Dinner is served.
Bondi osteria Cicciabella has launched an at-home dining menu, which brings the Sicilian experience to your sofa.
The new Porta Via Per La Casa menu features a three-course meal, made fresh in the Cicciabella kitchen that day. The menu is refreshed every week to showcase a different pasta shape. This week, diners can tuck into focaccia with San Daniele prosciutto, Sardinian-style gnocchi with blue swimmer crab in a preserved lemon butter, followed by tiramisu. At-home diners will only need to cook the pasta and heat the sauce, and hey presto! Dinner is served.
If your kids are behaving during homeschool, you also have the option of adding on a Bambini pack to your order, which includes focaccia, either a pomodoro pasta or spaghetti bolognese and two bombolini doughnuts, plus a pencil pack and colouring-in pages to keep them entertained.
Cicciabella has also launched an online store, where you can shop a selection of fine wines and pantry goods, from fresh pasta and sauces to homemade gelato. There’s also a range of Santa Vittoria mixers created in collaboration with Icebergs, including a Sicilian lemon and cinchona bark-infused tonic, that makes all our G&T dreams come true.
All orders are available for pick up at Cicciabella on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3-7pm
