Introducing a new twist on a rum-based Negroni (a.k.a Right Hand) with a fresh floral and citrus lift to it, and a bit of extra zing from the infused verjus! To go even fresher and brighter with this recipe, substitute the aged rum for a blanco or other lightly aged rum. INGREDIENTS

  • 25ml aged rum (Bacardi 8 or similar)
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml Maidenii sweet vermouth
  • 15ml lemon thyme-infused verjus
  • 2 drops Doterra lemon essential oil

METHOD

  • 1.
    With the cleanest of hands, add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, and stir until perfectly chilled and diluted (about 50 seconds).

    Strain into a rocks glass over large bock ice.
  • 3.
    Garnish with lemon zest and a sprig of lemon thyme (or loo-roll origami, if you're cheeky like us!)
