Kmart has released its new homewares collection, here are the surprising products that have shoppers cheering

They may not be made of faux marble, fur, or brass, but the latest Kmart homewares to have shoppers in a frenzy is a series of sensible, practical, eco-friendly kitchenware.
For those who are addicted to those super convenient supermarket sandwich bags, Kmart has released a set of three reusable snack pack pouches. The BPA-free ziplock bags come in a medium (150g) and large (250g) and cost $4 and $5 respectively.
Another eco winner are the stretchy silicone bowl covers, which are priced at $5 for a set of six. Designed to replace single-use cling wrap, the set provides an airtight seal for your bowls, cups and dishes, protecting your leftovers for weekday lunches.
To save your cut fruit and vegetables, you can seal them using Kmart’s new silicone food huggers. Sold as a set of four for $3, the huggers protect your half-used produce, without the need for cling wrap.
And finally, there’s a seven-pack of reusable cotton bags, available in both string and mesh design. The glamourous granny bags can be used for grocery shopping as well as for fruit and vegetable storage.
